ENG Takes the Stage at Advancing Preconstruction 2026

ENG presented at Advancing Preconstruction 2026 in Phoenix, AZ, on May 6–7, North America’s largest preconstruction-focused event. As part of the conference’s 11th edition, ENG joined a packed room of estimators, VDC managers, and preconstruction executives to talk about one of the most underutilized tools in the preconstruction stack: 4D BIM.

The ENG Session

ENG took the stage on Wednesday, May 6, at 1:55 PM (Track 2) alongside  Len Vetrone, former COO of Skanska USA, Jay Berryhill, CRO at ENG, and Diego Beltran, BIM Specialist at ENG, to deliver a session titled:

“Win the Work. Plan the Work. Work the Plan. The Real Preconstruction Value of 4D.”

The session addressed a specific and common problem: preconstruction teams rely on drawings and CPM schedules that don’t reflect how work sequences in the field. Adding time to the model,4D BIM simulation, closes that gap before mobilization begins. Key topics covered:

  • Phasing clarity: understanding how construction sequences unfold before mobilization begins
  • Site access and logistics: identifying conflicts in material flow, crane placement, and laydown zones early in the process
  • Traffic flow coordination: anticipating disruptions to surrounding operations and public access
  • Hidden project risks: surfacing schedule-driven risk that only becomes visible when time is added to the model

The core message was clear: contractors who use 4D in preconstruction bid better, plan better, and they win more work because owners and GCs can see the plan before a single shovel hits the ground.

ENG’s Preconstruction Team on the Ground

ENG brought a strong team to Phoenix to connect with contractors, owners, and preconstruction professionals:

  • Jay Berryhill — Chief Revenue Officer
  • Adrian Lovagnini — Business Development Executive
  • Christopher Curry — Enterprise Account Executive
  • Aron Bohorquez — Enterprise Account Executive
  • Diego Beltran — BIM Project Manager

ENG Happy Hour

That evening, ENG hosted the Advancing Preconstruction Happy Hour, drinks and bites at 6:30 PM in Glendale, Phoenix, open to conference attendees after the close of Day One sessions.

Side events like this matter in the preconstruction space because the real workflow conversations tend to happen outside of scheduled sessions. The happy hour was a deliberate extension of the day’s discussions in a setting where contractors could speak candidly about what’s broken in their preconstruction workflows.

Let’s Connect

If your preconstruction team is evaluating how 4D BIM fits into your workflow, for estimating support, phasing validation, or owner presentations, talk to ENG about 4D BIM services for your preconstruction workflow.
