ENG at Advancing Mechanical & Plumbing Prefabrication 2026

ENG was proud to exhibit and participate in the 2nd Advancing Mechanical & Plumbing Prefabrication Summit, held in Denver, Colorado, on August 26–27. The event brought together prefabrication, BIM/VDC, and operational leaders from across mechanical, plumbing, and general contracting to examine how standardized workflows, model-based coordination, and connected data are strengthening the delivery of complex mechanical and plumbing systems.

For ENG, the summit offered an opportunity to connect with mechanical and plumbing contractors, technology partners, and prefabrication leaders advancing data-driven fabrication workflows and predictable project delivery

ENG Session: Hitting a Moving Target, VDC MEP Process Piping Lessons from a Massive Semiconductor Plant

As part of the Advancing Mechanical & Plumbing Prefabrication 2026 program, Gloria Luna, Director of Mechanical & Plumbing VDC at ENG, and Natali Britos, BIM Project Manager at ENG, presented the session “Hitting a Moving Target: VDC MEP Process Piping Lessons from a Massive Semiconductor Plant” on Wednesday, August 26, from 1:45 to 2:20 pm

The presentation examined how large-scale process piping scopes can stay on schedule when design continues to evolve, drawing on lessons learned from a high-complexity semiconductor project.

The session focused on practical workflows used on real construction projects, including:

Standardizing coordination workflows to drive consistency and predictability in process piping prefabrication
Enhancing BIM-based deliverable tracking for prefabrication by leveraging ACC, BIM 360, and ClickUp to ensure clear version control, spool release visibility, and rework tracking.
Managing standards across multiple fabrication vendors while mitigating supply chain disruptions and large-scale design changes, ensuring consistent modeling quality, production efficiency, and on-time delivery

The workflows shown during the session demonstrated how disciplined standards and connected tracking systems can absorb change without compromising fabrication schedules. When project teams align coordination models, deliverable tracking, and vendor standards, they gain clearer visibility into spool status and can protect production continuity even as design evolves.

The ENG Team at Advancing Mechanical & Construction Prefabrication 2026

The ENG team at the event included Mariana Jimenez, Director of Reality Capture; Gloria Luna, Director of Mechanical & Plumbing VDC; Natali Britos, BIM Project Manager; Agustina Perez, Business Development Executive; Chris Doyle, Account Executive; and Milagros Storni, Marketing.

Bowling Happy Hour Hosted with Stratus

Outside the conference program, ENG and Stratus co-hosted a bowling happy hour for attendees. Mechanical and plumbing contractors, VDC managers, and fabrication shop leaders shared lanes over drinks, trading notes on spool tracking, shop capacity, and BIM-to-fab handoffs between turns.
