From July 7 to 9 in Dallas, ENG joined the largest gathering of electrical prefabrication professionals at the Advancing Electrical Prefabrication. As the only industry event focused exclusively on electrical prefabrication, it offered a unique forum to address shop–field–VDC alignment, prefab compliance, and the cultural shifts required to scale prefabrication efficiently and consistently across project

ENG Leads Critical Conversation on Prefab Culture and Accountability
ENG’s session drew over 170 attendees, becoming a real success. Ant Mulherin, Head of Electrical VDC, presented “The 3 Unpopular C’s of Prefabrication: Consensus, Compliance & Consequences.”
The session tackled challenging but critical topics:
- Aligning VDC, shop, and field teams under one prefab strategy
- Who’s accountable when plans are ignored
- What’s at stake, culturally and financially, when alignment breaks down
Beyond the strong turnout, the session highlighted ENG’s position as a key player in tackling the real-world challenges of prefab. Moreover, it focused on collaboration, responsibility, and field-driven results.
